The world has changed since we last hung out, but we are so happy to see you again. With that in mind, we ask that anyone entering The Palomino to please respect the following guidelines:
– We are working hard to follow the mandated Alberta Safety Health guidelines
– Staff will be wearing protective masks and will be sanitizing their hands throughout their shift
– Heightened cleaning practices and routines have been implemented
– Our laminated menus are available if requested, but we encourage everyone to use our digital menu found on this website
– Our space has been redesigned to provide and improve physical distancing. Restrooms now have a 3 person maximum limit.
At The Palomino all of our meats are smoked low and slow in the largest smoker in Western Canada. Every day we go through pounds of BBQ classics such as Beef Brisket, Pulled Pork and Ribs. Our Smoked Chicken, New Orleans style Catfish Po’boy, award winning Chili and rib-sticking Macaroni & Cheese are also extremely popular with the locals. For those who want to try a little bit of everything at once, we highly recommend the Fatass Platter, but be sure to have some hungry pals at your side because this dish is a doozy!
All of our BBQ sauces (House, Chipotle and Carolina Mustard) and Rubs are made in-house and are gluten free. On weekends we feature the famous Cowboy Brunch, our BBQ-inspired take on breakfast classics which are available for both early and not-so-early risers.
We feature a large selection of beer, whiskey, bourbon and other spirits to quench your thirst.
