Restaurant Amato

We are located in the very heart of old Sainte-Rose in Laval, in an ancestral house built in 1895. We renovated and expanded in 2004 and we opened the Amato restaurant in December of the same year.

We are very proud of our little piece of paradise – especially our terrace. It is recognized as being one of the most beautiful terraces in Laval, and even in Quebec. In addition to feeling amazed in a garden with all the stunning flowers, the terrace features a fountain, a gazebo as well as a section with curtains and auxiliary heating.

With a warm decor and authentic Italian cuisine, our restaurant is very intimate with only 10 tables inside and a capacity of approximately 35 people outside.

We also have 2 private rooms that can accommodate up to 20 people for all occasions such as birthday, office party, wedding celebration, baptism, first communion, retirement, Christmas party, meeting or reception of any kind . We also offer free wi-fi.

Our wine cellar is prized by Wine Spectator and the SAQ’s Carte d’Or.

We were recently recognized by Ospitalità Italiana – Ristoranti Italiani nel Mondo as being an authentic Italian restaurant located outside of Italy – the only one in Laval.

The founder, Mr. Tony Amato, Italian of origin, had the Restaurant Le Negroni for 25 years and he received the highest honorary distinction of Knight of the Italian Republic in 1998.
