Bistro Stefan was born from a partnership change that occurred in 1996. Having previously operated as a steakhouse and bistro, Bistro Stefan quickly gained a reputation for a commitment to quality, renowned among locals and patrons of the adjoining Best Western Fireside Inn alike.

True to our roots, high-quality beef remains a cornerstone of our menu. Yet we’ve diversified our offerings to include a range of dishes fitting of a modern, innovative bistro. From fresh seafood and pasta to tantalizing appetizers and seasonal delicacies, our menu is sure to excite your appetite.

Be sure to try our signature item, the “Beggar’s Purses”. Maintained on the menu for the past 20 years, the Beggar’s Purses combine simple chive tied crepes in the shape of a boursin (mini purse) stuffed with white wine poached chicken, cream cheese, mushrooms, and tarragon. Served with rum honey cream sauce.
