After 20 years in the business, chef/owner Paolo Colbertaldo transformed what was the classic diner, Large Marge into a modern, coastal neighbourhood kitchen serving market inspired fresh food.
“We were going out on a limb with a unique concept for Lunenburg attempting to ‘up the playing field’ in a town mainly offering traditional fare” says Colbertaldo.
The result, a modern approach to dining offered in a casual and fun atmosphere adding in a bit of quirkiness, much like its chef!
LSF offers a small nightly menu (changing through the season) profiling hyper local ingredients sourced from nearby farms and purveyors. A curated organic/biodynamic wine list complements the menu along with a selection of craft beer and innovative cocktails.
